ICF - Intermediate Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled

Residential Services: Considered the 'backbone' of the ICF, this department concentrates on teaching residents daily living skills and other skills necessary so each person can reach their highest level of independence.

Residential Training Instructors impart skills many take for granted such as: brushing teeth, toileting skills, laundry skills, self-hygiene, grooming, travel training, survival skills and dining etiquette. Special care is taken to tailor each goal to the level and need of the resident.
Staff empower residents to maintain their own care as much as possible, but ensure all residential needs are met while maintaining each person's dignity.
